Josh brings over two decades of experience in data systems, software engineering, and high-performance trading and research platforms. Currently a Principal Software Engineer at Opendoor, a platform revolutionizing residential real estate by simplifying the buying and selling process through technology, Josh leads a number of strategic efforts including enterprise re-architecture, machine learning, time series forecasting, and generative AI applications.

With deep expertise in building scalable data platforms, Josh is a leader in developing solutions that drive innovation and operational efficiency. Prior to Opendoor, Josh held senior leadership roles at Two Sigma, where he developed advanced trading and research platforms. Before working in finance, Josh worked in computer vision and computational graphics, most notably being involved in visual effects production for films such as The Matrix Trilogy and Constantine.

Josh holds a B.S. in Computer Science from Columbia University.
