Yuval Tal brings decades of experience in hospitality, real estate, and international mergers and acquisitions, with a focus on complex, first-of-their-kind transactions. As co-head of Proskauer’s Hospitality, Gaming & Leisure Group, Yuval has led transformative deals across the globe, including the $2.9 billion acquisition of Fairmont, Raffles, and Swissôtel by AccorHotels and the sale of Hoteles City Express to Marriott. His work spans virtually every type of hospitality transaction, including mixed-use developments, branded residences, hotel and casino acquisitions, and innovative hospitality concepts such as private clubs and theme parks.

An expert in navigating complicated, non-customary deals, Yuval regularly bridges legal systems, cultural differences, and unique challenges to create tailored, practical solutions. He has represented private equity firms, family offices, corporations, and individuals in structuring, restructuring, managing, and exiting investments across Asia, Europe, and the United States.

A member of the Urban Land Institute’s Hospitality Development Council, Yuval is a recognized leader in hospitality and private equity real estate, with his work frequently cited by Legal 500 and Chambers Asia Pacific.

Yuval earned his J.S.D. and LL.M. from the University of Chicago Law School as a Fulbright Scholar, and his LL.B. from the Hebrew University Faculty of Law.
